I took quite a few series' of photos that I changed the aperture, shutter speed, and white balance. None of them seemed to be making a change for the better. It wasn't until I started photographing these sunglasses that I could tell that changing the white balance actually helped to increase the quality of the photo. Most of the photos I shot with the "daylight" setting but I did try some others even though it was not the correct setting for the light. This photo uses the "shade" setting and I love the way it turned out. The setting made the sunglasses turn into a warmer brown in which they look worn and used as well as made the background look vintage. Obviously, if I wanted to portray the sunglasses and setting as "true" then I would have used the "auto" or "daylight" setting. There is just something about the way the colors changed in the photo that really appealed to me. I think that the color change really helps to invite the viewer into the story around the sunglasses and makes them question who was wearing them and why.
