Selfie

Having taken an unacceptable amount of selfie photos in my life and now with SnapChat, it's pretty much a daily regimen. I wanted to try something different and not include my entire self in the photo. We were asked to make a photo that represents how we see ourselves at this moment. Having just walked in graduation two days before leaving for Santorini, this photo represents my past, present and future. Four years ago, I became a Cobber, purchased my ring just two years ago, and one week ago I flipped my ring and was ushered into Cobber adulthood. Now I sit in Santorini with one last hurrah before moving onto the next part of my life.

I took a multitude of shots wearing the ring, having the ring sit alone, and then holding the ring. I settled on this shot because it is a representation of what it looks and feels like to finally turn your ring around and begin a new lifestyle outside of college.
